Why expertise may matter more than ever for aspiring ISE professionals

In my collegiate teaching, I have started to notice something interesting when students are asked to analyze operational data or structure a systems problem. When given the same case or dataset, some immediately turn to an artificial intelligence tool to help organize their analysis. Others refuse to use it at all.
