Operational excellence (OpEx) is a business process improvement philosophy used by organizations to improve both efficiency and effectiveness through the principles of continuous improvement. Nowadays, OpEx is a fundamental pillar that enables enterprises to gain competitive advantage by implementing methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, Lean Six Sigma and their integration with digital technologies to set and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
