Creating rhythm in the supply chain symphony orchestra
Moving parts of moving goods, making music, each require precision, teamwork
By Diana Berry
When listening to a symphony orchestra
as an audience member, we experience
a large group of musicians (normally
60-plus) playing each of their parts in
harmony and producing a beautiful
unified musical performance. If you are a musician in the
orchestra, you experience the essence of being a team
player. Sometimes you are the soloist and other times you
are in the background playing long notes for the good of
the final performance.
