Happiness is an elusive and compelling concept. Poets write about it, researchers investigate it, authors publish books about it, people dream about it and most of us seem to want it. In his book The Art of Happiness, his holiness the Dalai Lama (with co-author Howard Cutler) states his belief that “the very purpose of our life is to seek happiness.”
