In manufacturing, we come across many different types of processes, including sheet metal, machining, chemical, process, mining, electronics and assembly operations. All of these processes, whether they are automated or still require manpower, must be monitored in some way to ensure that they are being operated safely and making products that meet quality and customer requirements.
