AEC 2020 Goes virtual: Aug. 4-6

Ergonomics Reimagined!

While the 2020 Applied Ergonomic Conference (AEC) originally scheduled for March 16-19 in Louisville, Kentucky, could not be held as planned due to the COVID-19 pandemic, IISE closely monitored the situation and determined that the Conference would be reformatted as a virtual event on Aug. 4-6.

In addition to participation in the virtual event, other valuable services will also be provided to registrants. If you registered for the March 2020 event in Kentucky, you will receive full registration for the 2021 Conference.

Registrants for the March 2020 Conference will have the opportunity to have access to the AEC 2020 virtual conference at no extra cost: IISE will apply your AEC 2020 fee and automatically register you for AEC 2021 – allowing you to attend next year’s conference at this year’s costs. In essence, this provides the opportunity to participate in two conferences for the price of one. Registrants will be sent Virtual Event log-in information prior to the event.

Like face-to-face conferences, virtual conference attendees will earn CEUs for professional development and have access to presentations and exhibitors. AEC 2020 will include presentations guaranteed to impart new knowledge you can use to reduce MSDs, jump-start or refine your ergonomics program and keep your workforce safe and healthy – concerns amplified during these trying times.

The AEC staff and volunteers truly appreciate your support, patience and cooperation as we continue to work through this challenging situation. Stay tuned as AEC 2020 unfolds at www.iise.org/AEC.
