IISE SCHOLARSHIPS AND FELLOWSHIPS
IISE's Scholarships and Fellowships Program recognizes graduate and undergraduate industrial engineering students for
academic excellence and campus leadership. The nominee's scholastic ability, character, leadership, and potential
service to the industrial engineering profession are all considered by the scholarship fund trustees when selecting
the
scholarship recipients.
Criteria
All applicants must be full time students, above freshman level with a graduation date of May 2024 or later, and enrolled in an industrial engineering
program that is accredited by an agency or organization recognized by IISE. The awards are valued up to $4,000 and
awarded in U.S. dollars.
To Apply
- Nominations open Sept. 1 and winners are notified March-April.
- Nomination Forms must be submitted by Nov. 15.*
- Qualified nominees will submit an application package that includes: Submissions Form, transcripts (may be
unofficial), 3 Reference Forms, optional letter of recommendations, and other specified criteria due in
February.**
- Winners are encouraged to attend the IISE Annual Conference & Expo in May.

A.O. Putnam Memorial Scholarship
Awarded to an ISE student who demonstrates an interest in management consulting.

CISE Undergraduate Scholarship
Awarded for outstanding research project conducted by an ISE student as part of paid or unpaid internship for
business or non-profit. Project should be focused on ISE tools and skills applied to benefit the organization and
include: objective, approach, data, alternatives, conclusions, impact on organization, implementation plan,
acceptance of results by the organization, and summary of learnings the student achieved. The final report submitted
to the organization may serve as the scholarship application.

John L. Imhoff Scholarship
Awarded to an ISE student who submits an essay detailing their noteworthy contributions to the development of the IE
profession through international understanding, either by academic, employment or professional achievements.
