Industrial & systems periodical earns regional gold, silver and bronze business publication honors
NORCROSS, Georgia – April 27, 2021 – ISE magazine has done it again. For the fourth consecutive year,
the
editorial flagship of the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers (IISE) has been awarded Azbee honors by the
American Society of Business Publication Editors (ASBPE).
In April 2021, the monthly magazine received gold, silver and bronze Awards of Excellence in the Southeast Regional
category. The winning entries include:
IISE’s COO Donna Calvert congratulated the magazine editorial team of Albertson, Karen S. Barnett, executive editor,
and Tara Ott, art director. “This is wonderful and very impressive! Thank you for the excellent work. It just proves
what we already know. We have the best editorial leadership whose excellence should be recognized and awarded.”
According to ASBPE, 800-plus entries were received this year and more than 85 experienced business-to-business
editors, freelancers and designers judged 60 categories of entries. The Azbees honor the best in B2B media,
recognizing outstanding work by B2B, trade, association and professional publications. One of the most competitive
awards programs for trade media, the Azbees highlight editorial, online, and design excellence within magazines,
newsletters, digital and social media.
