The Service Systems Engineering Community has teamed with Chapter No. 1 and IAB and CISE to provide this timely and important continuing learning opportunity for IISE members and customers.

In our initial webinar of these “4.0” series, we over-viewed Service 4.0, Service Systems Engineering and Industry 4.0. Both webinar decks and audio can be found on the IISE website, webinar archives, Chapter No. 1.

Industry and Service 4.0 both have rippling implications for the End2End Supply Chain and Logistics Engineering. This webinar is a prelude to a more detailed session which will be offered/held at IISE's Annual Conference in Orlando. We’ll share information about the Industry Practitioner Track for this conference in this webinar.

In this webinar, Industry expert and past president of IISE, Jim Tompkins will provide a high level overview of how “Industry and Service 4.0” is impacting how supply chains are managed. Benoit Montreuil, director of the physical internet center and co-director of the Supply Chain & Logistics Institute, will discuss Smart Supply Chain Management, and David Poirier, CEO The Poirier Group will provide insights based on his extensive experience in the field of Supply Chain Re-engineering.

This is an opportunity for all ISE’s to work on the T-Model Professional Development; keep broadening your knowledge and understanding of our field.
