Lean and Six Sigma tools, concepts, and methods form the backbone of most corporate improvement engagements around
the world. Learn the basics of how these vital methodologies work together to create more efficient and effective
systems.
Concepts and methodologies are explained and illustrated. Participants learn about value streams, waste, and basic
lean tools as well as data collection and the interpretation of the data, specifically as it relates to the
processes.
This one-day course and is intended as an introductory course to those interested in Lean Six Sigma.

There are no prerequisites for this course.
Exam & Certificate
Once the participant has successfully completed the examination, the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers will award the Yellow Belt Certificate.
