Overview:

Manufacturing Critical-path Time (MCT) is a metric that helps organizations understand system-wide waste in their current processes and identify opportunities for improvement in order to decrease lead time and increase responsiveness to customers. This metric can be used to identify wasted time within internal operations and in the supply chain. This session will explain the MCT metric and how to utilize it to identify and prioritize continuous improvement opportunities, show how to develop MCT maps, and compare these maps to other popular techniques such as process flowcharts and value stream maps. Adopting MCT as a driving metric within your organization can help improve on-time deliveries, reduce inventories and decrease costs.
