Blog: A New IISE Society is Born

It hasn't happened in 30 years. During the recent 2018 Applied Ergonomics Conference (AEC) in Atlanta, the attendees heard a rare and important announcement. RE: IISE Announces New Applied Ergonomics Society

For the first time in 30 years, IISE has added a new Society. The Applied Ergonomics Society was launched this morning at IISE's Annual Applied Ergonomics Conference. Yesterday, I had the great pleasure of attending the first board meeting for this new society, and it was ENERGIZING! This group is dynamic, fun, and doing a lot of incredible work. Here's a photo of the group:

Definitely an exciting event here at the Applied Ergonomics Conference in Atlanta. And this new society has a super group of individuals in the leadership positions to move the society forward!

It's very common – and it's extremely dangerous. The AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety notes that more than a ... https://www.ulehssustainability.com/blog/workplacesafety/drowsy-drivers-put-themselves-and-others-at-risk

RE: IEs & SEs in Healthcare

Hi all!
I am in the process of getting my BS in Industrial Engineering and I am also doing an internship at Norton Healthcare in Louisville, KY with the Clinical Effectiveness team! I have loved applying engineering into healthcare so far and I think it's an incredible field to get into. I was also concerned after graduation that I wouldn't be able to find another engineering healthcare job …
