Jim Potvin will share some of the basic principles and research related to physiology of muscle fatigue and tissue injury resulting from repetitive loads.
"Measuring 101: How to Make the Most of Your Ergonomics Assessments using Low-Tech Measurement Tools"
Gary Allread will assist ergonomists and safety professionals in determining what measurement devices they should have in their “ergonomics toolbox,” such as scales, force gauges, video cameras, tape measures and goniometers. Both speakers will give a preview of the material they will cover during their full pre-conference sessions.
