IISE Speaker AND POSTER PRESENTER INFORMATION

The IISE Annual Conference gathers the seasoned industry practitioners and cutting edge researchers from all segments of industrial & systems engineering domain. This event provides an exciting opportunity for attendees to meet, network, explore ideas, and learn from the leaders in industrial & systems engineering.

The conference program comprises primarily two types of sessions - proven solutions and applications from industry, and research from academia and industry scholars. In addition to these sessions, the conference program offers interactive panels, workshops, town hall meetings, exhibit hall and keynote presentations.

Oral presentations all have a standard duration of 20 minutes. Town Halls and Panel Discussions will be 80 minutes long.

Registration

Accepted conference speakers and poster presenters are not automatically registered. Speaker discount codes are provided at the time of acceptance.

Student speakers may register at the student rate.

  • IISE student members can register online using their member ID. To register, please click here.
  • Non-member students must submit their registration from via fax with documentation showing full-time student status. The non-member student registration form can be found here.

Speaker Registration Deadline

All speakers (oral and poster) electing to not submit a full paper must register by Jan. 20, 2022. Any speaker that submits a paper for consideration is granted an extended registration deadline of Mar. 7, 2022.

Paper Submission Guidelines

All speakers accepted for oral presentation will have the opportunity to submit a paper or case study. All accepted speakers will be required to select one of three options:

  1. I plan to submit a full paper (6 pages) via the online portal to be reviewed for (i) potential publication in IISE Conference Proceedings and (ii) a best track paper competition.
  2. I plan to submit an industry/practitioner case study (2 pages) via the online portal to be reviewed for potential publication in the IISE Conference Proceedings.
  3. Not submit a full paper or case study.

If you choose either option 1 or 2, the deadline for submitting full papers and case studies in Jan. 20, 2022. These papers must adhere to the required format and page restrictions. More details about format to follow.

Papers that do not adhere to this format will be rejected and will not be considered for best track paper awards or proceedings. If a full paper submitted under option 1 is accepted in the conference proceedings, it will be copyrighted and indexed via ProQuest.
