Inside IISE Journals
This month we highlight two articles on scheduling and logistics. The first article investigates the feasibility of co-firing biomass with coal to generate power. The importance of incentives is identified. Considering location, expediting and production strategies, the second article explores the optimal strategies for supply networks to use in meeting tight delivery lead-times. These articles will appear in the October 2016 issue of IIE Transactions (Volume 48, No. 10).
