Increasing supply reliability in the apparel supply chain using TOC principles
This case study demonstrates how the application of Theory of Constraints
(TOC) principles, combined with buffer-based execution and real-time loadaware
planning, significantly improved delivery performance in an apparel
fabric unit. The transformation resulted in over 95% on-time delivery, 15% higher
throughput and reduced freight cost, driving end-to-end supply reliability.
