Getting better at the ‘people things’
“Improving the process things is not that hard – it’s trying
to manage the people things.” These days, when I talk
to relatively young industrial and systems engineers,
the challenges that come from the people side of work
consistently occupy top position on the “things that make
my job less than fun” list.
