Performance metrics are vital to business

Most organizations rely on metrics to gauge performance. Financial measures take center stage: sales revenue, expenses, gross profit, earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization, and earnings per share. Management experts expanded their view 30 years ago with the balanced scorecard, measuring and reporting nonfinancial operating performance to make better decisions.
