Crisis planning now and in the future

Few events have impacted the global economy and the world’s 7.8 billion inhabitants as profoundly and rapidly as COVID-19 as the human toll continues to shock nearly everyone. It has altered nearly every facet of our normal lives as entire regions shuttered businesses, people sheltered in their homes, schools closed and social events were canceled. Shortages appeared across the global economy, from household disinfectants to medical facilities able to handle the tsunami of patients.
