Effective leaders know when risk is right

A client was in great distress. All key performance indicators pointed downward. Despite significant increases in resources, hordes of high-priced consultants and reorganizations, key milestones fell by the wayside and schedules continued to be adjusted. Senior leadership grew impatient and selected a new leader to right the ship.
