Closing the pre-internet black hole

I have a significant concern about a loss of meaningful knowledge occurring, and I am not referring to potential memory loss in my 60-year old brain. Instead, my concern is related to the potential loss of both process improvement history and knowledge. We have a "before internet" black hole out there, and we need to make an effort to close it. Should we fail to do so, a lot of helpful knowledge may be lost forever.
