Innovation – disruptive or sustaining?
Successful disruptors tend to focus on mature products and services dominated by
a small group of suppliers. The top 20 percent account for 80 percent of the margin and
profit. Most companies invest heavily to protect their share of this lucrative market,
ignoring their less profitable customers, products and services, providing opportunity
to disruptive entrepreneurs.

The tools for a circular economy are almost here
While global awareness of the need to conserve resources and reduce greenhouse gas

and generating more emissions. This conundrum has challenged engineers and policy-makers
for decades, but we are closer than ever to building a sustainable framework.
