A great source of information

ISE magazine for January 2017Today I received in the mail my hard copy of ISE magazine for January 2017, another edition full of useful and interesting articles, along with information on industrial and systems engineering.

I have been a member of IISE (and its former iteration) since 1978. While I am no longer a full-time faculty member, I still continue to provide guest lectures and to supervise graduate students. I find it difficult to quit this ever-changing and exciting profession.

May I take this opportunity to congratulate you on the wonderful job you and your staff do in producing this magazine, from which I can always find something that I can pass on to my students.

I have three shelves in my office devoted to their storage, with lots of yellow stickies marking items of special interest. In those days, one couldn’t just troll the web page to search out topics. Thank you and my best regards for this service.
