Executive summaries of IIE Transactions

Edited by Ronald Askin

This month we highlight two articles that provide assistance in keeping systems running. The first article looks at how to estimate the remaining useful life of components or systems that are being monitored. The second article examines how to inventory and dispatch spare parts that serve multiple systems and customers with different priorities. These articles will appear in the September issue of IIE Transactions (Volume 45, No. 9).
