IISE is excited to welcome attendees, exhibitors, and partners to Atlanta for an in-person Healthcare Systems Process Improvement Conference.

IISE Duty of Care

IISE continues to prioritize safety and health of all attendees, exhibitors, sponsors, speakers, and staff. IISE no longer requires proof of COVID-19 vaccination status or a negative test result for admittance to HSPI 2024. However, it is recommended that attendees are vaccinated for COVID-19 and take a test prior to attending HSPI 2024. Mask wearing will be optional. IISE is also working closely with the Crowne Plaza Atlanta Perimeter at Ravinia to ensure that HSPI 2024 will be a success. 

Please note safety and health measures can evolve based on current Centers for Disease Control (CDC) recommendations and any building, city, state, and federal mandates. And the safest way to travel is to be vaccinated.

The measures outlined on this page are designed to create exceptional, safe experiences for all conference participants. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

What We Ask of You

IISE asks you, the participant, to partner with IISE to take steps to protect yourself and others. By registering for the conference, you understand and acknowledge the risks associated with diseases and viruses, especially for the unvaccinated, and you are fully aware that exposure may result in, including without limitation, infection, illness, injury, or otherwise. In consideration of the above, you hereby release IISE of any liability related to your attendance.

Participant Code of Conduct

Before Traveling

  • Follow relevant guidance provided by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) [and World Health Organization (WHO)] or your local health authority.
  • Adhere to government issued travel restrictions and guidance issued by the region you will be traveling to and the region you are traveling from.
  • Stay home if you feel sick or have recently been exposed to a person with a positive and confirmed case of COVID-19 within the past 14 days. 

During the Conference

Follow CDC guidance for everyday preventative actions to help prevent the spread of respiratory viruses including:

  • Washing hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds; using alcohol-based hand sanitizer when handwashing is not possible.
  • Avoiding touching eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands.
  • Covering your nose and mouth when coughing or sneezing.
  • Cleaning and disinfecting frequently touched objects and surfaces using a regular household cleaning spray or wipe.
  • Consider social distancing and respect others’ personal space.
  • Stay in room if you feel sick.

    Health and safety measures by IISE prior to the conference or on-site are subject to change based on current CDC recommendations. Any violations of the Participant Code of Conduct may result in prohibiting entry or removal from the conference.
