IISE University Chapter Deadlines for YOUR Chapter Year

Timeline for University Chapter Operations

Submitting Officer Slates: All chapters, student and professional, will only be required to submit one officer slate per year. The deadline will be determined by the date the officers expire. Chapter officers will be notified one month before their slate expires that a new slate is due.

*Officer Slate Form sent to HQ and your RVP when new officers are elected.

Sept. 30
HQ Action: Chapter Dues Rebate Checks Issued to Chapters with Green Health Status
Suggested: Find Students for Simulation Competition.

Oct. 31
Student/Professional Chapters (Optional): Operations Plan submitted to HQ.

Nov. 1
Student Chapters (Optional): Chapter Development Fund request deadline.
Student Chapters (Optional): Submit IISE Scholarships and Fellowships nominations.

Dec. 1
Student Chapters (Optional): Submit nominations for Student Award for Excellence and Graduate Research Award.
Conference: Hold chapter paper competition.

Dec. 30
Student Chapters (Optional): Newsletter Competition entries due. 2022 Scoresheet.

Jan. 7 
Student Chapters (Optional): Registration deadline for Simulation competition.

Jan. 9 
Student Chapters (Optional): Nominations for the Regional Outstanding Faculty Advisor Award open.

Conference: Submit local paper to Regional Conference Host.

Jan. 31

Bank Statement through Feb. 28 (US Chapters only)

Note: Chapters whose funds are handled by the university (and do not have their own bank account), must annually submit a letter/email in lieu of the bank statement.

April 3
ePostcard – IRS Form 990-N. **Required annually to maintain tax-exempt status.
Student Chapters (Optional): Financial Report due.

May 1
Student Chapters (Optional): Chapter Development Fund request deadline
