THE IISE TRANSACTIONS ON OCCUPATIONAL ERGONOMICS AND HUMAN FACTORS AWARD

Recognizes the best paper published in the IISE Transactions on Occupational Ergonomics and Human Factors.

Eligibility:

  • The paper must have been published in IISE Transactions on Occupational Ergonomics and Human Factors after June 30 of the year preceding the year of nomination, and before July 1 of the year of nomination. All papers published in IISE Transactions on Occupational Ergonomics and Human Factors will be automatically considered.
  • Winners are expected to present their papers at the IISE Annual Conference & Expo.

Criteria:

  • Each winning paper must be recognized as significant to the profession, either by its application of occupational ergonomics and human factors theory and practice, or by the development of new theory or practice.
  • The publications will be evaluated for the following criteria:
    • Scientific and/or Methodological “Rigor”
    • Occupational “Impact” and/or technical innovation
  • All awardees will be automatically considered for the Outstanding IISE Publication Award.

Nomination:

All papers published in all issues of IISE Transactions on Occupational Ergonomics and Human Factors are automatically considered.

Judging:

  • The editor-in-chief and the senior vice president for publications are responsible for the judging process.
    • The Associate Editors will rank order the publications based on the award criteria, and the top-ranked publication will be selected.
