Welcome to the largest industrial and systems engineering event of the year!

The Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers (IISE) is excited to invite you to Orlando for an educational feast fit for the profession’s finest. At the IISE Annual Conference & Expo, you’re joining leaders in the field, up-and-comers and students to network, gather new ideas and learn about innovative tools and techniques. Prepare to make connections that will aid your career and build friendships that last a lifetime.

Presentations will cover overall content of the profession instead of focusing specifically on research or applied solutions.

Colloquia

Doctoral Colloquium
Saturday, May 18
7:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.

The Council of Industrial Engineering Academic Department Heads (CIEADH) and the Institute of Industrial & Systems Engineers (IISE) requests nominations for the IISE Doctoral Colloquium to be held Saturday, May 18, 2019 preceding the IISE Annual Conference and Expo in Orlando, Florida.

This all-day event is designed for doctoral candidates expecting to graduate by the Spring of 2020. Panels of experts will lead discussions on various topics including the job search, life in academia and industry, the tenure process, teaching, research, and professional service. Students are required to present their dissertation research in a poster session on Sunday, May 19. A panel will review the posters and award a best poster designation on Sunday, so students should plan to attend the Sunday session of the conference. All posters will remain on display during the conference on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.

Nomination information will be available in late fall.

New Faculty Colloquium
