Lockheed Martin F35 Assembly — SOLD OUT
8 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Tour attendees will receive a rare, behind-the-scenes look at one of the most advanced aerospace manufacturing operations in the world. The experience begins with a brief history of Air Force Plant 4, highlighting the evolution from World War II-era aircraft production to today's cutting-edge defense manufacturing facility.
Participants will then take a guided walking tour of the active F-35 assembly line, following the aircraft through key stages of production. Areas may include Wing Structures, Wing Systems, EMAS, Forward Fuselage, and Final Assembly. Throughout the tour, attendees will have opportunities to ask questions and engage directly with knowledgeable guides as the build process unfolds.
Time and interest permitting, the tour may also include select back shop areas such as Composite Layup and other specialized manufacturing operations.
All attendees are required to go through security clearance prior to the tour. Non-citizens and competitors may be restricted. No cameras or photos will be allowed.

DFW International Airport Tour/PIO Building — SOLD OUT
8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Join us for a unique facility tour at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, the third busiest airport in the world. Attendees will receive an overview of DFW's innovative initiatives and gain insight into the scale and complexity of operations that support one of the largest aviation hubs globally.
The tour will also include a visit to DFW's internationally recognized fire Training Research Center (FTRC). During this portion of the tour, participants will learn about the facility's role in advancing firefighter education and training, explore the center's specialized training environment, and see examples of the equipment and approaches used to support cutting-edge research and instruction.
This behind-the-scenes experience offers a rare opportunity to visit a world-class aviation facility and learn how research, training, and innovation come together to support safety and preparedness at a global scale.

The Department of Industrial, Manufacturing, and Systems Engineering at The University of Texas at Arlington
4:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Attendees will receive an exclusive look at the Department of Industrial, Manufacturing, and Systems Engineering (IMSE) research centers and laboratories at UTA.
The program beings with welcome remarks from the Department Chair, followed by guided tours of IMSE's active research spaces. Tours will showcase department research centers and labs supporting sustainable and intelligent manufacturing systems, artificial intelligence and data science, human factors and ergonomics, data analytics, and systems engineering. Faculty and student researchers will provide brief overviews of ongoing research projects and industry collaborations.
Throughout the evening, enjoy a sponsored open bar and snacks hosted by UTA RAID Lab Founder and IISE Fellow, Dr. Erick Jones Sr. While networking and enjoying refreshments, participants will experience a live demonstration of the bilingual VR learning platform, including an interactive walkthrough of immersive modules, Q&A on instructional design and technical integration, and access to a digital feedback survey.
The event concludes with networking and closing remarks.

Village Creek Water Reclamation Facility
7:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Step inside the Village Creek Water Reclamation Facility for an exclusive look at large-scale water treatment in action. This guided tour includes an overview of the plant's history, capacity and sustainability initiatives, followed by a walk-through of key treatment areas including primary and secondary clarifiers, aeration basins, disinfection and UV processes, influent and effluent systems, odor control beds and the digester.
Participants will gain insight into the full reclamation process while learning how the facility supports environmental stewardship and community infrastructure.
Please note: Participants must be able to walk throughout the facility and are required to wear closed-toe shoes.
