Join AEC 20th Event Celebration Task Force members Tim McGlothlin, David Alexander, and Bill Boyd for a glance of the AEC 20th Event Celebration. The theme for this year’s event is proud of our past … and looking to the future. This webinar will briefly highlight the history of AEC and how it established and highlighted the role of the applied ergonomics practitioner within industrial and service organizations. Finally, the speakers will give a preview of the special workshop sessions, keynoter speakers, special activities and recognitions that will make this year’s conference the “must see” ergonomics event of the year!

Tim McGlothlin, MS, CPE is the executive director of N. C. State University’s Ergonomics Center and senior managing partner of CompletErgo LLC. He serves as the AEC 20th Event Celebration Task Force chair and has served in numerous leadership roles within IISE and AEC. He also worked as the principal ergonomist at Eastman Chemical Company and various engineering/management positions at Motorola.

David Alexander, PE, CPE is the president of Auburn Engineers and is often referred to as the "father of applied ergonomics". He currently serves as a member of the AEC 20th Event Celebration Task Force. As the founder of the Applied Ergonomics Conference (AEC), he has served in numerous leadership roles within AEC including multiple times as conference chair.   

William (Bill) Boyd, CIH, CSP, CPE is currently the director of membership services at the Institute of Industrial & Systems Engineers (IISE) after serving 12 years as senior vice-president of CNA Insurance and 14 years as manager at USF&G Insurance. He serves as a member of the AEC 20th Event Celebration Task Force and has served in numerous leadership roles within the AEC including conference chair.
