In around the blogosphere | SEMS Blogs

It has been 31 months since we posted our first blog on the SEMS blog website. Most 'popular' topics include quality and safety standards, business growth strategy, organizational change, lean in healthcare and teamwork. Our topic leaders range in experience and backgrounds providing a blend of academic and practical views on crucial topics in constantly changing and demanding business environments. We recently engaged undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students to blog, which brought innovative thinking and analysis, and some fun into blogging. Overall, it has been a successful kick-off to our blog initiative. We can now proudly share with you few key milestones we have reached:

  • More than 50 blogs posted in 16 subjects from the Engineering Management body of knowledge
  • More than 10,000 total views from 125 different countries
  • More than 100 comments posted

Our current goals focus on increasing SEMS Blog visibility via social media; recruitment of topic leaders for unfilled/new topics; and even stronger student engagement.
