Reservations

A dedicated website is now available for attendees to book their hotel rooms online. A limited number of rooms are available at the conference rate of $169 for a single or double plus applicable state and local taxes. These taxes are currently 8% sales tax and 8% room tax, plus an additional $5.00 per night flat State Hotel-Motel Fee. You can also contact Hilton Central Reservations at 855-243-1342 and refer to IISE|ELSS 2018. All reservations must be accompanied by a first night deposit or guaranteed with a major credit card. The hotel will not hold any reservations unless they are secured by one of the above methods.

Attendees booking through the conference room block will receive complimentary wireless guest room internet; a $9.95 per day savings.

The cutoff date to book reservations is Friday, Aug. 31, 2018, or when the room block is full. Quoted sleeping room rates will be offered, based on availability, three days before and three days after the conference dates.

Reservations cancelled within (72) hours of arrival will be charged one night’s room & tax, including no-shows. Guest departing late may incur an additional night rate and tax. Guests need to check with the Front Desk on available for late checkout.

Parking:  The American Hotel has extended a discounted parking to IISE|ELSS attendees. Overnight parking is valet only for $27 per day. Day parking is valet only for $15 per visit for up to eight (8) hours

Atlanta Weather: In September the daily high temperatures decrease by 8°F, from 86°F to 77°F, rarely falling below 69°F or exceeding 92°F.

Time zone: Atlanta is in the Eastern Time Zone. Daylight Saving Time starts on March 11, 2018 and it ends on November 4, 2018. The time zone during this period is known as Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) and is 4 hours behind Greenwich Mean Time (GMT).

International Travelers:

A United States visitors (B-1) visa allows a foreign citizen to travel to a port of entry and request admission into the United States from a U.S. immigration inspector. Begin your visa application process as early as possible as it could take several months to process.

U.S. Citizens - Air Travel 
All U.S. citizens including children must present a passport or other approved travel document when entering the United States by air. U.S. citizens can present a passport, NEXUS card at airports with NEXUS kiosks, U.S. military ID with travel orders, or a U.S. Merchant Mariner Document when on official business.

U.S. Citizens - Land/Sea Travel 
U.S. citizens entering the United States at sea or land ports of entry are required to have documents that comply with the Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative (WHTI), most commonly a U.S. passport, a passport card, a trusted traveler card such as NEXUS, SENTRI or FAST, or an enhanced driver's license. Citizens of Other Countries - Air Travel
All international visitors regardless of country of origin must present a passport or secure document when entering the United States by air.
