Inside IISE Journals

This month we highlight two articles that address new variants of traditional operations planning problems. The first article addresses a version of the classic traveling salesman problem that considers the kinematics of autonomous vehicles when planning routes. The second article takes a systems approach to determine the inventory ordering policy in a manufacturer-distributor-retailer supply chain. These articles will appear in the February 2017 issue of IISE Transactions (Volume 49, No. 2).
