A systems thinking habit: Pareto improvement

Systems thinking is an approach that concerns understanding a system by examining the interactions between the components of the entire system. It is based upon systems theory: the idea that changing one part of the system may affect other parts. This can be a useful way to think of the world so that we can apply changes to obtain desired outcomes.
