What would industrial engineering pioneers Frank and Lillian Gilbreth do with today's digital tools, such as the internet of things (IoT), the cloud and advanced analytics? How would this have altered their work? Interestingly, this question is similar to asking if the Boston Red Sox and Chicago Cubs would have their most recent World Series' victories without the tactics described in the book and movie Moneyball.
