Privacy Statement
IISE is firmly committed to respecting the privacy of those who use our website. The following policy information is to inform you of how your personal information will be used. Please check back from time to time as this information is subject to change.

By visiting www.iise.org or related properties, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the processes and policies referred to in this notice.

Use of website logs
We use website logs to track all hits and include identifying information related to the IP address of the computer accessing the site. However, this does not identify the person.

Information is gathered on site activity, such as how many viewers access the site, the pages they visit, etc. We use this information on an aggregate, anonymous basis, to improve site content. We also may disclose aggregated information (for example, X percent of our viewers visit the Career Center section) to third parties.

Use of Cookies
Cookies are used to track click-throughs for our banner ads, but no user identifiable data is stored. Cookies are also used to enable members to login. However, the standard system does not specifically keep track of who logs in and when.

Forms
Users that submit ads using the online forms must include contact information, which is stored for use related to the ad.

Polls, Surveys and Communications
As a part of our polls and surveys, users may be asked to give an e-mail address. You may choose whether you wish to provide that information. Any information gathered through these polls and surveys is for IISE use only and will not be distributed.

You may receive e-mail or mail messages from us regarding partner companies’ offerings, but only if you have given us permission to do so. We do not disclose your contact details to our partners, and we do not sell your data. You have the option of contacting the other company directly should you wish to explore the opportunity presented.

IISE is committed to making sure your personal information remains confidential. IISE strictly adheres to all state and federal laws pertaining to privacy of records.

IISE will not disclose personal information unless we have your written permission, or unless we are under court order to do so. IISE is committed to protecting the privacy of the personal information submitted by participants who are registering as members or acting as customers for any of IISE's products and services.

You may be asked to submit certain personally identifiable information such as gender and birthdate identifiers as part of the member registration process. IISE will only use this information for the purposes internal to IISE for which such information was provided. IISE does not share personally identifiable information with others.

You may update most of your personally identifiable information in our system at any time by going to our Online Membership Update form.

IISE utilizes industry standard security measures to protect against the loss, misuse, and alteration of information under its control. While there is no such thing as absolute security on the internet, IISE will take reasonable and prudent steps to promote the security of the personally identifiable information that you provide.

Children’s Privacy
Our sites are not directed to children under the age of 13, so if you are not 13 years or older, do not use our website. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 13. If we learn that personal data of persons less than 13 years-of-age has been collected through IISE, we will take the appropriate steps to delete this information. If you are a parent or guardian and discover that your child or a minor under the age of 13 has posted, submitted or otherwise communicated personal data to our site without your consent, then you may alert IISE so that we may take appropriate action to remove the minor's personal data from our systems.

Our site may contain links to third-party websites, applications and services not operated by us. These links are provided as a service and do not imply any endorsement by us of the activities or content of these sites, applications or services nor any association with their operators. The company is not responsible for the privacy policies or practices of any third party including websites or services directly linked to our service. Your European Rights
FOR EUROPEAN RESIDENTS ONLY. You have the right to ask us not to process your personal data for marketing purposes. We will usually inform you (before collecting your personal data) if we intend to use your personal data for such purposes or if we intend to disclose your information to any third party for such purposes. FOR RESIDENTS OF CALIFORNIA ONLY. Section 1798.83 of the California Civil Code requires select businesses to disclose policies relating to the sharing of certain categories of your personal data with third parties. If you reside in California and have provided your personal data to IISE, you may request information about our disclosures of certain categories of personal data to third parties for direct marketing purposes. Registration for conference or training
IISE Continuing Education is committed to making sure your personal information remains confidential. We will not sell, loan, or provide any of your personal information to anyone outside of IISE. When using our online registration system, you will be given the choice to save your name, address and other information for your convenience when using the system the next time. If you choose not to save this information, you will be asked to enter it again the next time you register. Credit card information cannot be saved through the registration system. This sensitive information will need to be re-entered each time you register through the web.

The Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers does not share, rent or sell personal, financial or health-related information to anyone and strictly adheres to all state and federal laws pertaining to privacy of records. Additionally, IISE will not disclose personal information unless we have your written permission, or unless we are under court order to do so. IISE is committed to protecting the privacy of the personal information submitted by participants who are registering for continuing education programs.

You may be asked to submit as part of the registration process certain personally identifiable information such as social security numbers and bank card information. IISE will only use this information for the purposes internal to IISE for which such information was provided. IISE does not share personally identifiable information with others. Your social security number is confidential and, under federal law, it is protected and will not be disclosed to unauthorized parties. Disclosure may be authorized for the purposes of Continuing Education Unit transcripts or accountability research.
