Tools adapted readily to chemical manufacturer’s accounting processes

Most practitioners of lean in the United States consider it to be primarily a cost-cutting program used in manufacturing environments. They are unaware that it is equally valuable as a method to improve office processes, service business processes and even government. The healthcare industry (service business) is starting to unlock the power of lean. Introducing lean tools into support service processes elsewhere while adapting them to fit the circumstances can yield solid benefits.
